Quester Tangent’s Global Reach

Saanichton, BC, Canada — Quester Tangent announces the continued revitalization of its global network of authorised representatives, with the recent conclusion of a new partnership with Hydrocharting in Denmark to represent Quester Tangent throughout Scandinavia.

Chris Elliott, Quester Tangent’s Director Marine, commented that "Jesper Hoejdal, the director and founder of Hydrocharting, hails from a background that fits in well with our objectives in seabed classification. He has an impressive knowledge of the market in Scandinavia, both in general but also more specifically in respect of clients who are interested in bottom classification with multibeam backscatter data. We are pleased to have him on board with us."

The seabed classification products from Quester Tangent complement the existing product range offered by Hydrocharting, which includes multibeam sonars from R2Sonic. Data acquired by the R2Sonic sounder can be seamlessly loaded and processed for bottom classification in Quester Tangent’s swath classification software.

Hydrocharting will offer Quester Tangent’s full range of seabed classification products and services. This includes tools to provide simple and accurate classification with single beam; sidescan and multibeam data to match an extensive range of client needs.
